Grand Caravan

It all started with me buying an Edmonton Sun, which is like buying an auto trader.  We decided to check out a leader that a Dodge dealership had advertised thinking it would not even exist.  You know the story ” oh we sold that but let me show you….”.  Well surprise, surprise!  The mini van was there.  The milage was almost nil so we snapped it up.

Not much happening today because I have a nasty cold. I could go on but you would need cheese with all my whine.  I did take some shots of my littlest son.  He had combed his hair and wanted a picutre.  I was having a bit of trouble with the focus but since this have figured it out…. I hope.

2Ps POTD

Today is about using your flash.  I decided to try the bathroom and bounce my flash off one wall.  I am not sure if I have over processed my pictures or not.  Straight off the camera they have a grey cast to them.

Welcome to my site

My love for photography and my love for my family have joined to create something wonderful, our lives in photojournaling.   Thank you for coming here and enjoying this with me.  I hope that my photography inspires you.

I have just received a new camera as an anniversery gift from my wonderful husband, Geoff.  My new camera is a Nikon D300 and I am enjoying how it has opened new doors to learning more about photography.  My old camera, now my backup, is a Nikon D70.

Today I shot this picture of my son Sean using the D300 and the Nikkor 85mm 1.8 D lens at 1/640 F2.8 ISO LO-0.3

 

For 2Ps POTD I took these shots of my planter flowers.  I looked at all the shots posted on the blogs of the 2Ps photography group and am so inspired!!
